Not only has GameMaker changed but our developers have also grown along the way and with new developers picking up GameMaker Studio 2 every day we are super excited to see what the future brings for them and how they will push GameMaker above and beyond everything we have planned for it.

To mark this occasion, we are taking 10 minutes from our busy schedule to show you some of our favourite GameMaker games and eat some cake. So, in no particular order:

Hyper Light Drifter

Crashlands

Death’s Gambit

Death's Gambit is a challenging Action-RPG where you explore an alien medieval world filled with beasts, knights, and horrors. Climb big creatures that will test your resolve. Fight dangerous monsters that will make you think outside the box. Give up everything for glory.

Downwell

Downwell is a curious game about a young person venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots for protection. Nidhogg is the epic award-winning fencing tug-of-war, full of graceful acrobatics and clumsy stabs. IRL yelling and excitement may occur, in this ultimate two-player showdown of fast-paced fencing and melee attacks. Beware, advantages in Nidhogg are often fleeting, as new opponents continually spawn.

Undertale

The RPG game where you don't have to destroy anyone. You control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. Now you must find your way out... or stay trapped forever.

Risk of Rain

Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible. Fight on a mysterious planet with randomly spawning enemies and bosses, either alone or with 3 friends in online co-op.
