Online games retailer GOG.com, formerly Good Old Games, has kicked off their “2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale” promo offer, and to celebrate, they’re offering free full version download of the Fallout Trilogy Collection, namely Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics, for PC and Mac. This freebie officially ends on Saturday, December 14, at 1:59PM GMT. If you haven’t yet played the legendary post-apocalyptic RPG series, now is the best possible time to get in on the action. Additionally, more than 600 games from GOG’s library will get up to 80% discount until 13:59 GMT on December 29.
Since the original series publisher Interplay will lose the rights to publish the Fallout games on December 21, 2013, all three classic Fallout titles will disappear from the GOG.com catalog at the end of this year. That doesn’t mean, however, that you won’t be able to re-download them if they are already a part of your collection by then.
