You can use your wireless controller to play games streamed from your PS4 using the Remote Play app on PC or Mac. Your wireless controller can also be used with compatible games and applications on your PC or Mac. Please visit the publisher's website to check if a game or application supports the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller. For the best game-play experience, we recommend using a DUALSHOCK®4 controller connected via USB. Third party controllers are not supported on PC. PS Now is not currently available for Mac. To pair your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller with your PS4 system, connect the controller via USB. Steam for Mac and few other apps provide native controller support. More detail on that below. PS4 Remote Play: Using the DualShock 4 with PlayStation's Remote Play app is relatively painless.
You can use PS Remote Play on any of these devices when they’re connected to your home broadband network:
Android smartphones and tablets
Any Android device running Android 7 or later can play PS Remote Play games using on-screen controls. Devices running Android 10 or higher can connect to a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller via Bluetooth4.
iPhone and iPad
Any Apple device running iOS 12.1 or higher can play PS Remote Play games using on-screen controls. Devices running iOS 13 or higher have DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller support via Bluetooth4.
Windows PC and Mac
Desktop or laptop computers (Windows 10, and macOS 10.13 or later), with the PS Remote Play app installed. Windows PC will be able to use a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller and DualSense wireless controller via wired connection.
Mac devices running macOS 10.13 or later will be able to use a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller or DualSense wireless controller via wired connection. Mac devices running MacOS 10.15 or later can use a DUALSHOCK 4 via Bluetooth.

- Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
- If you need to update the firmware on your controller, check with your game controller manufacturer.
- Check that you’re in range of your device and there isn’t interference in the area.
- If you still can't pair or connect, get help pairing your Bluetooth accessory to your iOS device.
